- You will need to coordinate monthly meetings for your group.
- You will need to identify key people in your area to contact. Some of those may include heads of PTA groups, teacher unions, and local school boards. Write action letters inviting them to visit the website and take action and support our cause.
- You will need to start an e-mail chain with a goal of reaching 1000 people per month.
- You will need to meet with your state legislators and try to get them onboard and lend support to the cause.
- You will also need to coordinate the petition campaigns for your area.
If you are interested, we really need your help. These type of coalitions have been successful in other states and they were able to institute laws that mandate school start dates. |
